Content Writer
Overall Job Purpose
We are a growing startup in need of a person with strong copywriting skills who can connect with our customer base through multiple channels. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating marketing materials, product descriptions and direct email. We work in a fast-paced market that occasionally requires quick turnarounds, so flexibility is critical for success in this position.
We are looking for a candidate who is creative, innovative and able to easily adapt to rapid changes in consumer preferences. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and using data to make marketing decisions. We are focused on providing a best-in-class customer experience, and you will have a significant role in helping us achieve that goal.
Reports To: Marketing manager
Description: Full-time & in-house.
Responsibilities
- Write clear, attractive copy that reflects our brand’s voice
- Collaborate with other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns, articles, press release)
- Edit and proofread copy as needed
- Use SEO principles to maximise copy’s reach
- Develop a variety of content marketing materials
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines
- Propose copy concepts and present underlying strategic thinking to business leaders
What skills will help you stand out?
- Proven experience as a copywriter or related role
- Proven Romanian written communication skills, and a passion for writing both short and long-copy.
- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Experience with SEO
- Strong research skills
- Creativity
- Collaborative spirit
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Romanian and English.
